Lessons are $75 per hour, or $60 per hour when you book a full month of lessons. Half-hour lessons are also available at the same rate ($38/$30 per half hour). Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, and cash are accepted. Tuition is paid for by the month and is due for the upcoming month on the last week of the current month. Keep in mind that some months will have 5 lesson days instead of 4, so tuition for lessons that month would be for 5 lessons instead of 4.
There will be some small additional costs at first and as time goes on for books, materials, etc., but these will be relatively infrequent, and costs will be low, one-time expenses. You will be provided with a small notebook at your first lesson, which is only $3. You may also bring your own notebook.
Other small supplies, such as drumsticks, guitar picks, strings, notebooks, pens, tuners, metronomes, and guitar straps may be available at a small additional cost if you need them. Just ask!
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy; if the lesson needs to be canceled less than 24 hours before the lesson, payment will not be refundable. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will not be rescheduled except in the event of an emergency. If the lesson needs to be canceled or rescheduled with more than 24 hours’ notice, the lesson can be rescheduled at no additional cost, or a credit will be issued toward the following month’s lessons.
Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult for all lessons.
Parents and friends are always welcome to join or sit in on the lesson or may wait in the living room.
Students should be ready to study and practice daily, though the important thing is consistency, not necessarily the amount of time spent practicing. Five minutes every day is better than an hour once a week.
